Apply to Buy a Puppy βHave a question about our puppies or upcoming litters? Reach out any way you like β we typically respond within 24 hours.
We work with multiple breeds and our available litters vary throughout the year depending on planned pairings, breeding cycles, and demand. Because dogs have naturally occurring heat cycles (typically twice a year), litter availability is not something we can schedule to a fixed calendar. We encourage you to contact us as early as possible β even if we don't have a litter ready right now, we can give you a realistic timeline and add you to our waitlist at no obligation. Our website will always reflect our most current available and upcoming litters.
The majority of our puppies are purebred, and most litters are eligible for registration with recognized national and international kennel clubs. Registration eligibility varies by litter and will be clearly stated in your purchase agreement. We work with AKC (USA), UKC (USA), KC (UK), FCI (international), ANKC (Australia), and CKC (Canada). Some puppies are sold on Limited Registration (not intended for breeding) and others on Full Registration β this will always be made clear before purchase.
Health is the foundation of everything we do. All breeding dogs undergo hip and elbow evaluations (OFA/PennHIP), eye examinations by a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist, breed-specific DNA genetic testing, cardiac evaluations, and thyroid testing where applicable. All health test results are on file and available for review. Every puppy receives a full vet exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming starting at 2 weeks, flea and parasite prevention, ISO microchipping, and an official health certificate. We also follow Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Puppy Culture protocols.
The minimum age is 8 weeks (56 days). This is based on decades of behavioral research β puppies taken before 8 weeks show higher rates of anxiety and behavioral problems. For international buyers, the minimum may be older due to import requirements. The EU requires 15 weeks minimum if a rabies vaccination is needed. Australia and New Zealand have strict quarantine requirements that may mean puppies are 6+ months before all requirements are met. We will always work with you to determine the appropriate timeline for your country.
We breed for all three purposes. Show Quality puppies closely conform to breed standards and are sold on Full Registration. Sport/Working Quality puppies have the drives and athleticism needed for agility, obedience, hunt tests, service work, and other performance events. Companion/Pet Quality puppies are fully healthy but may have a minor cosmetic trait that disqualifies them from showing β they make exceptional family pets and are typically sold on Limited Registration. Tell us about your lifestyle and goals and we will be honest about which category best suits you.
Our socialization program includes daily handling from birth, Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) from days 3β16, exposure to household sounds (vacuum cleaners, TVs, doorbells, children), introduction to different surfaces (carpet, tile, grass, gravel, metal), interaction with multiple people of different ages, exposure to other animals, introduction to crates and car rides, and supervised play with littermates. We document all socialization work and provide buyers with a summary of what their puppy has been exposed to.
Step 1 β Contact us by phone, email, or through our website. Step 2 β Complete our short puppy application questionnaire. Step 3 β We follow up with a phone or video call to answer your questions. Step 4 β Upon signing the purchase contract and paying your deposit, your spot is secured. Step 5 β We send regular photo and video updates as the litter grows. Step 6 β Final payment is due before your puppy is released, then we coordinate pickup or shipping.
Deposit amounts vary by breed and litter and are applied toward the total purchase price. Deposits are generally non-refundable β once you reserve a puppy, that place is removed from availability for other buyers. Exceptions include: if we are unable to produce a puppy matching the agreed description, or if a puppy fails its pre-travel health check and we cannot offer a suitable alternative. Transferring your deposit to a future litter is often possible if your circumstances change β please communicate with us early.
For domestic buyers we accept Zelle, Venmo, credit card via Stripe, and cash in person. For international buyers we accept international bank wire transfer (SWIFT/IBAN), PayPal, and Wise (formerly TransferWise). We do not accept personal checks from international buyers. All payments must clear before a puppy is released. Please be vigilant about wire fraud β we will NEVER change our payment details mid-transaction via email. If you receive such a message, call us immediately before sending any money.
In some circumstances, yes. We understand purchasing a puppy β especially with international shipping costs β is a significant financial commitment. We are willing to discuss payment arrangements on a case-by-case basis. Typical arrangements include a deposit to hold the puppy, a mid-point payment, and final payment before shipping. Any payment plan will be formalized in writing. The puppy will not be released until the full balance is paid and cleared.
Included: all age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming from 2 weeks through departure, flea and parasite prevention, ISO 15-digit microchip and registration, official veterinary health certificate, puppy care starter pack (food sample, blanket with mother's scent, care instructions, vaccination booklet), registration papers where applicable, and our ongoing lifetime support. NOT included: shipping costs, travel crate, import permits, quarantine costs, pet transport agent fees, additional import health testing, and currency conversion fees. We provide a full written breakdown of all expected costs before you commit.
Pricing reflects breed rarity and demand, health testing costs (comprehensive testing can cost $500β$2,000+ per dog per year), quality category (show vs. companion), registration type (full vs. limited), pedigree (champion or titled bloodlines), and rarity of color, sex, or other traits. We do not inflate prices arbitrarily. If you find a significantly cheaper puppy elsewhere, we encourage you to ask about their health testing program. Unusually low prices for a well-known breed are often a red flag.
Yes. We have experience shipping puppies to buyers in North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Asia, the Middle East, Australia, and beyond. International shipping typically takes 4β10 weeks to arrange from the time a puppy is confirmed for shipping. We strongly encourage international buyers to begin the conversation at the deposit stage so we have adequate time to prepare everything correctly.
Transport depends on puppy size, airline route, and country requirements. In-Cabin Travel is available for small breeds (typically under 8kg/18lbs including carrier) β the least stressful option. Manifest Cargo is used for larger puppies, traveling in a pressurized, temperature-controlled cargo hold in an IATA-approved crate. Professional Pet Courier is used for complex multi-leg international journeys with maximum oversight. We will never put a puppy on a flight with excessive connections or during temperature extremes.
General ranges: Airfare/cargo fee $300β$1,200+ USD, IATA travel crate $50β$200 USD, health certificate and vet exam $100β$300 USD, country-specific import documentation $50β$800+ USD, pet transport agent fee $300β$1,500+ USD if used, and quarantine costs if required (Australia quarantine can be $2,000β$4,000+ AUD). We will always provide a detailed quote for your specific situation before you commit. All shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility and separate from the puppy price.
Common requirements include: Official Veterinary Health Certificate (endorsed by national veterinary authority), proof of vaccinations with dates and batch numbers, rabies vaccination documentation (many countries require it 21+ days before travel and AFTER microchip implantation), ISO 15-digit microchip documentation, rabies titer test for countries like Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, and Hawaii (with 90β180 day waiting periods), import permit, and parasite treatment records (required by UK, Ireland, Finland, Norway, Malta). We recommend contacting your country's official veterinary import authority early.
Some countries require an approved quarantine period for imported dogs regardless of health status. Australia requires a minimum 10-day stay in a government-approved quarantine facility at the owner's expense. New Zealand has similar requirements. Quarantine is entirely the buyer's responsibility to arrange and fund. We will provide all documentation needed to satisfy quarantine authorities, but we have no control over the quarantine process once your puppy arrives in your country.
We will contact you immediately with all available information, work with the airline to rebook on the next suitable flight, and care for the puppy safely until departure. You will never be left wondering what is happening. We strongly recommend purchasing pet travel insurance before your puppy is shipped β it can cover veterinary costs, delays, and in rare cases, loss or injury during transit.
Yes. Every puppy comes with a written health guarantee included in your purchase contract. Coverage includes congenital conditions (defects present at birth) and hereditary conditions (diseases with a known genetic basis). Our guarantee period is 2 years from date of birth. To make a claim, the puppy must be examined by a vet within the required timeframe, the condition must be diagnosed in writing, and you must notify us promptly. Remedies may include a replacement puppy, partial refund, or contribution toward veterinary costs.
Deworming at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks of age. Vaccinations: first DHPP at 6β8 weeks, second DHPP booster at 10β12 weeks, rabies vaccination at or after 12 weeks where required (timing relative to microchip is critical for international travel), and Bordetella if appropriate. All vaccinations are administered by a licensed veterinarian and recorded with brand name, batch number, expiry date, and administration date. Your receiving vet will use this record to continue the appropriate schedule.
Yes. Every puppy is microchipped using the ISO 15-digit, 134.2 kHz standard β the internationally recognized standard used virtually everywhere. This ensures your puppy can be scanned and identified anywhere in the world. The chip number is recorded on all documentation. We encourage you to also register the chip in your country's national database after your puppy arrives. The microchip is implanted between the shoulder blades β quick, minimal discomfort, and permanent.
Absolutely β we genuinely want you to. Our relationship does not end at handover. We provide immediate transition support for the first days and nights, guidance on health records and upcoming vaccines, answers to behavior and training questions, breed-specific diet and exercise advice, and we love receiving photos and milestone updates. We are available by phone, text, email, and WhatsApp. For international buyers, email is often most practical and we commit to responding within 24β48 hours.
If your puppy shows signs of illness β lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, labored breathing β contact a licensed veterinarian immediately. Some mild symptoms in the first 24β72 hours can be stress-related and resolve with gentle care. Symptoms beyond mild transition stress require immediate attention. If a vet diagnoses a covered condition: contact us the same day, provide the written diagnosis, retain all veterinary records, and do not start treatment that would mask the diagnosis without discussing with your vet first.
Your privacy is important to us. We comply with GDPR (EU), UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA (California), PIPEDA (Canada), and LGPD (Brazil). We collect your name, address, contact details, purchase records, and household information only to process your inquiry, communicate about your puppy, fulfill health guarantee obligations, and comply with legal requirements. We never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. You may request access, corrections, deletion, or opt-out of communications at any time.
We warmly welcome visits by appointment. Seeing where your puppy was raised and meeting the parents firsthand is one of the best things you can do. For international buyers unable to visit, we offer live video calls via WhatsApp, FaceTime, or Zoom so you can see the puppies, parents, and environment in real time. We also provide regular weekly photo and video updates, virtual kennel tours, and references from past international buyers in your region.
Yes. Contact us and express interest in a specific breed, sex, color, and/or quality category β we add your name with no obligation. When a litter is planned or confirmed, we contact waitlist members in order and give them the opportunity to commit with a deposit. Once you pay a deposit you move from the waitlist to a confirmed reservation. As puppies develop, we work with buyers to make the best match based on lifestyle and temperament. Waitlist timelines vary β typically 3β6 months for many breeds.
Signs of a reputable breeder: They health test breeding dogs and can show you results. They ask YOU questions about your lifestyle. They welcome visits to their home or kennel. They have a written contract with a health guarantee. They are knowledgeable about their breed. They don't always have puppies available β responsible breeders breed selectively. They are involved in breed clubs. They will take a puppy back at any point in its life. We meet all of the above criteria and welcome scrutiny β ask us anything.
We will always take one of our dogs back, at any age, for any reason, for the rest of that dog's life β no questions, no judgment. We would infinitely prefer a dog returned to us than surrendered to a shelter. If you ever cannot keep your dog, contact us first. We will work with you to find the best solution. For international buyers where physical return is not practical, we will help you find a responsible local solution and vet any potential new home.
